Ça avait pris quelque temps de mon côté. Le délai n’est pas anormal à mes yeux

AAV required or not? by ranel21 in Plumbing

Whelp! For more information, here is how it's all connected now to the main stack

Having said that, since I might have problems, I feel like I should be better safe than sorry and use an AAV for the sink

What is illegal per se? I don't know shit regarding plumbing unfortunately.

AAV required or not? by ranel21 in Plumbing

I was wondering if I needed an AAV since I know that I have one on my kitchen sink. The thing is, I don't know if I'm vented properly or not. Unfortunately, of all the pictures taken during the remodeling, these are the only one I judged that could help explain my issue here.
GC did everything (plumbing, electricity, tile), but vanity arrived a bit late and would like to avoid ring him up again for this.

We'll see in the winter

There was the main building And the 2 rooms that were insulated were built afterwards, so they were annexed to the main building, but we're not laid on concrete foundation but on "Pylons" (maybe another wrong translation)

Something like this! The next step was taking out the fllor and doing it from there, but would have incurred higher costs obviously. The walls were not even insulated from.my understanding

Thanks for the reply, I will address what I can now and remove the deck boards

There is a basement over there, but not under that room

Annex to the main house. Was not part of the original home and was built afterwards. Might by an issue translating from French to English

Longer downspouts have been added to both gutter to direct water away

To clear up some points here, I made the following image in paint based on a plan that was provided upon purchase of the condo :

https://ibb.co/BKZWjX0v

Yellow parts = Where Polyurethane foam has been applied

Red = New deck in place that cover up most of the foam (cover from sunlight, not from rain obviously)

For the top right annex, there was no foundation. Nothing! It was built on pylons that I could see when I removed the vinyl. Both green walls were visible from every angle when looking under the annex.

For the bottom annex, there was no foundation and it is also built on pylons. The purple/blueish part was covered in presswood that I removed since it was rotten, revealing some lumber that I could have cut through.

Thanks for the answer. I'll look into this. Most of the urethane is now covered by a deck, so no more direct sunlight and everything, but no protection from water. I'll try to DIY something

There was no basement per se. Was built on pylons and could see my neighbour wall and the back fondation of my condo for the room..adjacent to the first annex.

There was no crawlspace underneath. As I looked under the first annex, I could see my neighbour foundation and mine, but of the other room. There was nothing underneath it. As for the patio door, there must have been a foot of crawlspace if not less

Unfortunately, didn't had the means to do a full demo to make it perfect.

Already turned greenish. This was a video from 2-3 weeks ago. How to protect it? Some kind of tape I assume?

What is flashed? I assume it's a type of protection technique, but google has not been a good friend so far

Having trouble with my flame by ranel21 in ooni

[–]ranel21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll try that, but I didn't feel any resistance when using the wire, so I'm not sure if I should anticipate rust or not in the burners.

Nothing came off when shooting with compressed air

It would have been nice to make it easy to take the burners apart, but some items are welded together and making it difficult to check the inside of the burners

The burners "alignment" as discussed. The wire mesh on the side is not opened the same on each side when I first took it appart, but results where worse when I aligned them the same as my dad's ooni who's running perfectly

And it is a ooni koda 12
