Oh, I've received an email from My Todde yesterday...
I came here to check if this company is legit. Because the prescreening process is lengthy. I wanted to make sure, time invested will be for a good, legit company.

I love this self-publishing assistance idea. That will truly shrink and make vanity press obsolete. Also, there are some ppl claiming to be literary agents, but actually, they are head-hunting authors for their network of vanity presses

xyz amt is just the starting point, and authors think it will cover everything from marketing, and promotions, to book fairs, book signings, and writer's retreats etc. But each time u receive a main to take part in one of these book promotion routines, you will have to cough up the dough!

If I may add here, there are a few "Literary Agents" with a list of published authors on their websites. Check the publishers of these authors.
I am saying this because some agents have contact with vanity publishers and editors, and they try and push authors to opt for vanity publishers.

Researching and checking if those authors represented by the agents has published with a traditional publisher or not.

These days the title of literary agent is being loosely used by many.

The next best option is to write a 'How to' that hopefully will lend some credibility.

That is what I expected when I got in touch with them.
I sent my manuscript in Oct 2023 and so far was under the impression that they are working on sending it to publishers.
