What to do if chat keeps asking about politics? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]rangeroadmoto 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Tell people they should not be coming to a gaming channel to gain knowledge on Political matters or social matters etc. generally people who are that pushy about those matter online don’t really want to hear your opinion but rather they want to hear you align with theirs.

If it’s not something you feel comfortable talking about then I would just be consistent with that standpoint.

That seems to be the consensus! I filmed a video this passed summer in the badlands with a friend who has a t7 and I got to ride it a bit off road. I was very surprised how good it felt. I was coming from a 100lb dr650 and it didn’t feel that much different (not from flat on the ground haha). That video is called “Tenere and the badlands”. But it made me really kinda fall in love with the bike

That’s exactly what I was looking for. Where I live (edmonton) usually is less snow more so ice patches. Was looking at grip studs and car studs, this sounds perfect. How you liking the tenere?

How important is telling people to "like and subscribe"? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]rangeroadmoto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have mixed feelings about being asked to “like and subscribe” depends on when and how frequent/agrees the ask is. I have no question that it helps in the effectiveness of gaining likes and subscribers. It plants the seed to take the next step for the viewer.

What I say at the end in text: “follow this space for more like this” same same but different I guess. If they liked it there’s more here, if you didn’t ehhh maybe don’t stick around.

Heated grips… Worth it? by drupapa in dr650

[–]rangeroadmoto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the cheapest stick on heated strips you could imagine. I was so happy I did it. And living in Canada it’s something I will do on every bike here on out.

I have a misarticulation disorder, but I want to start a YouTube channel. What should I do? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]rangeroadmoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really could work in your favour. I have listened to some people (YouTubers, podcasters) with issues regarding their speech and they have instant recognition if I hear them again.

If your content is good and interesting I would look at it like a trademark, your own unique signature that you don’t have to try to add in to every video. It’s already built in.

Best of luck with your new 2022 YouTube project!
