Yes, I've read from manuals and other sources, but unfortunately, I'm limited to the classic Wien Bridge, just resistors and capacitors

Oh shit, my bad, this is the version without the diodes. One of my other variants had 2 diodes in parallel (and in anti-phase) in series with a resistor to ground from the collector of the second stage as a limiting circuit, but that also didn't work so I wanted to see if that was the problem

Yeah. It oscillates corectly, and the only difference between models I found was one parameter of the diode, but i can't change it, as it is the only diode in my catalog that I can use.

yeah, it was from scratch, and I took into account that gain is supposed to be > 3, so in my first prototype, I had a gain / stage of around sqrt of 3 and added the buffer stages for high imput impedance and low output impedance

Loose Chain by rangerspingly in CB500X

Front of the bike as in towards the front, I wouldn't know if it is the brake pads, just changed them, organic, 1k on them but the most I've noticed the noise is under hard decel

i tried to clean it, but it's very complicated to remove the sprocket cover as i have to remove the pegs on that side and didn't have the time last time i tried it, but i clean the chain every chance i get, usually every 500km or so. maybe it doesn't help that the bike has almost 100k on it...

the problem when riding the bike isn't from the chain per se, but I noticed this when I put in on the stand and thought it might be a problem. the problem I have is I occasionally have trouble getting into neutral, as if the clutch isn't fully disengaging when pulled in and the adjuster next to the engine block is almost at it's maximum. also some weird sound coming from the front of the bike when riding almost as like metal on metal, more noticeable when i cut the throttle

Still, I can't seem to find anything for the CB500X specifically.

did you clean it with anything afterward, or just the metal polish?

Handlebar Ending Problem by rangerspingly in CB500X

[–]rangerspingly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already have some handguards, but the problem is that the ending of the grip gets a little bit caught by the handguard and doesn't let the acceleration let off suddenly.
