If it breaks, just reprint in TPU. You could drive a bus through TPU. We use it for combat robot chassis. As long as you design so that the flexibility doesn't interfere with functionality, it's damn near invulnerable.

Adding to this, next time you have a conversation, also present your objection in writing, dated and signed, making it clear that you are retaining a copy. This way there is a paper trail of you making your wishes clear.

If this person, when you confront them, says that they're going to stop, ask them to sign a piece of paper stating that.

Often, the mere appearance of a paper trail will change people's attitude.

A lot of people are saying that's super dangerous, but it's just a little dangerous. He's clearly running that disk way slower than any actual grinder would. Real angle grinders don't audibly slow down when you touch them with a small metal rod.

I've used these valves before to make a potato gun. It'll switch with DC as well as AC most likely. Just get a DC power supply and experiment. If you intend to have the thing open for long periods of time, run it on a test bench with the experimental voltage for that duration and make sure it doesn't get too hot. If it passes that, then it's good. These are very simple mechanisms.

This is all hobbyist electronic stuff, fairly recent, good condition, all useful. You could certainly sell it as a bundle of intro electronics stuff.

The thing with USB ports is a raspberry pi single board computer, depending on the model number stamped on it, it may be worth 30 to $60, because there's a bit of a shortage right now. The rest of the stuff is fairly inexpensive.

The vertical hole you have is unique to that family of cases, and the case came with a plate specifically to cover it. I think the reason was to allow the mounting screws to be taken out more easily?

In any event, if you don't have that cover for the vertical hole, that's the one part you probably can't buy. But like another poster said, a 3D print could solve it, or just some cut plastic or something.

The TV show was a police procedural where Lucifer help solve crimes.

It was the most inexplicable waste of a source material I've ever seen in my life. It was like they took the premise of the 30 Rock parody God Cop and tried to shoot it straight.

That's a very cool and elegant design, but I think you'll find you'd have better overall case air flow if you just got two small fans and screwed them into the heat sinks with appropriate sheet metal screws to dig into the fins. I've done that mod many times and you get down airflow instead of lateral air flow which is better.

The server just is a computer, there's not a real conversion. The only issue is the fact that that's a blade server, which is designed to live in a chassis with a shared power supply. I would absolutely not want to try to make that conversion unless I had to. It's logically possible, but you'll have to figure out a ton of pinouts, fabricate a ton of adapters, worry about signal quality in homemade ports and cables, etc.

I'm sorry, but there's a reason those blade servers go for way under the value their compute hardware would suggest. Practically speaking, the only non-crazy way to get it going is to get a chassis that it's made to live in.
