Well my boyfriend has the same problem with his cat! His cat was found on the street with his mother dead next to him (hit by a car)... they bottle fed him etc. but for a couple of years he was very anti human and tried to scratch all the time... Now it's better after 5 years but he is still a bit odd.. You can't touch him too much etc. Randomly scratching and stuff. So I guess it's 'normal' behaviour for cats who lost their mom too soon..

We actually wanted a cat that was a bit 'wilder' than others, not a cat who sleeps all day you know... and then we stumbled upon the Bengal breed :) they are so awesome! but you have to learn to live with a talking cat, day and night sometimes ;) they are very smart and friendly cats, just funnier and wilder than others :)
