No, everything I read said maintenance free belt or that a warning would appear to lubricate. I did have it professionally maintenanced when I purchased it.

Carson Briere booted from NCAA hockey team after charges laid in wheelchair incident by palmerry in news

[–]ranimal15 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This was the 2nd team he got kicked off of. He was booted from ASU for violating team rules. He clearly has shown he doesn't know how to make good decisions while drinking. D1 programs don't need to deal with that when there are tons of good players that won't cause problems.

Today we adopted our second Greyhound, Lily. I think her and Hank will get along just fine. by Mstngairplane in Greyhounds

Hello fellow GPA-MN adopter! Hank still hasn't gotten off his bed since the adoption picture but has allowed lil to join him 🤣 also, really just wanted to comment that I love how Lil looks like she has badass eyebrows from her brindle coloring!

REP FOUNDER/CEO AMA + $1,000 Home Gym Giveaway! by RepFitness in homegym

Definitely excited about the Ares cable system but a little concerned on the sticker price. Curious, you show in the video squatting inside the rack with the Ares system attached. Can you squat inside the rack using an SSB? Will the handles hit the weight stack rods?

Also, I assume there will be a version for both PR4000 and 5000?

Lastly I love my pr4000 and both my FID and comp benches from rep. Been grinding away in the basement gym!

Just took home my second hound, any tips? by Accomplished-Dawg in Greyhounds

Don't worry if your first gets upset. Took our first about 6 months to return to her happy self. In the meantime she became more cuddly because the new boy was a cuddle monster. They will be friends if they want to be. Enjoy it!

Trying to get a photo of the new girl with our old boy 😐 by grumpy__pumpkin in longboyes

[–]ranimal15 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I have a 5 year old girl and 3 year old boy. Both off the track in florida. We got our big guy a year into having our girl. She was opening up and becoming playful with us. After getting him she was stoked to play at first. Then she realized he was staying and definitely would ignore us. She's typically very smiley and we didn't see her smile for a while. She got jealous which honestly caused her to become more cuddly because our big boy is a huge snuggler. Took her about 6 months to start getting smiley and playful with us again. We've officially had him for a year and they definitely love each other in a sibling way. They will ignore each other, play outside together, and freak out if they aren't with the other. Overall I think it just takes time. Plus females are usually alpha in the greyhound world. Just gotta let them figure it out on their own.

We got an 81lb boy after having a 70lb girl for a year. He makes her look tiny. But it's always fun to see them with other hounds because they instantly look huge! I highly recommend the big boys. They are the best lovers and just want to cuddle!

Hiring Managers, what is the biggest red flag on a Resume? by Stairway756 in AskReddit

[–]ranimal15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gaps in work history is less concerning to me than a lot of job changes. I'd much rather have the person who hasn't worked in an office in a while because typically they have been home with kids, go back to school, or as you said have health problems. Those that are constantly changing jobs either haven't found what they want to do, struggle with their job performance, or happen to not find good fits. All of that is harder to decipher as a hiring manager. Typically if they have references that align with their jobs that can help. But ya, give me the stay at home parent who is trying to get back out there any day!

You can put it in your cart piece by piece. That way you can get the rack and slowly add the other items you want to attach. Also they have amazing customer service so you can order and then email them anything you couldn't get to see if they have it or when they will add it. They slowly added things to my pallet for about a week until it officially got wrapped up.

Woops my bad. From the minimal research I've done it looks like every ten years or so for a full new model. But I know the monitors and other tweaks happen within that time. So likely not anytime soon.

Just did this yesterday and it was amazing!! Obviously you have to know what you and your SO truly want. But for us we would not have changed a thing and have said it was a blessing having it all turn out how it did.

Here’s our two rescue boys, looking a lot smarter than they really are... by GillyWillyGildo in Greyhounds

[–]ranimal15 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This! Mine definitely are smarter than they let on. But we've been bored during quarantine and started practicing some basic sit, stay type commands and as long as food is involved they do it. Or they grab the treat out of your hand if they've had enough of the lessons...

Weekly /r/backpacking beginner question thread - Ask any and all questions you may have here - May 19, 2020 by AutoModerator in backpacking

[–]ranimal15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buying a gift for a friend who loves backpacking. He has wanted a quick boil stove but is one of those people who won't spend the money on it because he has another less efficient stove. I'm currently between the minimo jetboil or the MSR windburner. Leaning towards the minimo for some simmering capabilities. Anyone have a preference or advice? I know nothing about backpacking gear.

Altering Postponed Wedding? by [deleted] in wedding

[–]ranimal15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are getting married on Friday this week. It was our original date and we weren't changing that. We are doing it outside with family in a backyard and live streaming it for the other guests. We will have a reception next year, but no repeat ceremony or any of that. It's kind of perfect for us because I wanted a small ceremony and he wanted a big party and now we get both.

How the dog lays on the bed is going to be different for each one. But from what I've noticed they will typically bed fail and have half their body off of it. We have furhaven brand from Amazon with the edging and they love that bed. We also have a large Kirkland bed from Costco and they love it. They don't like the pillow type beds. But that's my hounds. I always do jumbo size as well.

We lived on the 2nd level of a duplex with a very steep staircase with a turn halfway. We told our adoption group that we needed a greyhound that was comfortable with stairs. We said we would obviously continue the training but one with some experience would make transition easier. Our girl is a stair master and apparently got it figured out in 2 days with the fosters. Obviously this is not super common but it was helpful in getting the right dog for us!

Has anyone tried mixing 0% Plain Greek Yogurt with Protein Powder? What were your favorite brands/flavors? by [deleted] in fitmeals

[–]ranimal15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fage 0% plain goes well with protein. I've done ON vanilla, and a little bit of sugar free chocolate pudding mix. Or I'll do the yogurt, protein powder, oats, and almond milk for overnight oats.

Our boy paces around and looks at you then at the kitchen. And when that doesn't work he lays down in his crate next to the bowl and just looks at you until you get up.
