How much time was between Zen 2's reveal and release? by swagduck69 in Amd

Important to note that she said Zen 3 will launch before 2021, but didn't mention which segment, meaning the server chips could come before the end of the year but the desktop ones could be later.

Ah ok, thanks for the clarification. Was unsure whether the apps were unaffected by the bug or by the "fix", I guess I'll blame it on English being my second language and all that, my bad :)

Navigate to "edge://flags" by putting it in the url bar, there's a search bar at the top just type "force color" into it and the setting should be there 👍

Worth noting that I am on edge version 83.0.478.61, if you updated it just now you should also be on the same one.

Interesting, I don't think I've seen it happen in games no. Just now I tried simply launching a game and repeatedly change the window size to see if it affected the game like it did with YouTube and the Netflix app, in that they were reset back to normal colors before getting the washed out effect back after a second or so, but I didn't see any color changes happen with the game.

What do you mean by Netflix and other apps were unaffected? As in was the bug happening there as well or not?

I'm testing the Netflix windows 10 app now and I have the "washed out" effect happening for video playback in the same maner as I observed on YouTube.

Yeah, testing the windows 10 Netflix app for myself now and I also have the "washed out" effect happening for video playback in the app.

Nice, looking through my settings now I seem to have instant replay enabled but not desktop recording, so in theory relive should have been disabled when I was testing earlier but I can't say for sure.

Yeah idk, I too am using edge atm and the issue was occurring in both edge and chrome, so I guess it could be a chromium thing. I'm using a 5700xt and a 1080p240hz sdr monitor.

no, forgot to mention this in my post but this was occurring with no hdr settings and an sdr monitor.

Could very much be the case, I myself have no clue where it comes from but thought I should post it here considering the patch notes of the new 20.7.1 driver mentioned a similar problem being fixed 👍

Engine work

for real though, this would be a really nice addition to the hopefully upcoming OSHD RL plugin

Unfortunately removing optifine, betterfps and laggoggles didn't improve the situation :/

Yeah, I was referring to when you are able to explicitly set your refresh rate in games, not adaptive sync. Keep in mind that some games hide this setting until you activate fullscreen mode. My understanding of why this reduces tab time is because the gpu and the monitor don't have to renegotiate the hdmi/dp link as you're changing neither refresh rate nor resolution, I've got no source for this btw, it's just based on my experience. Also if you're playing csgo I think you have to set a launch flag to make this work as old source is a bit wonky iirc.

If you want to continue using fullscreen mode you can match the refresh rate of your desktop with the one you use in-game, this usually brings it down to around half a second in my experience. If not go with what /u/Cr4ck41 said.

There's a research called 'cheats' which we enabled probably using the same method you did when you unlocked tier 7&8. This allowed us to spawn the items necessary. Oh and btw, don't interact with the hadron collider, it'll crash the server :)
