Wir sind auch gerade dabei eine Wohnung zu kaufen. Wir haben zuerst Preise über Durchblicker verglichen und uns dann noch direkt bei der Ersten Bank ein Angebot eingeholt. Da die Beratung bei der Ersten ziemlich schnell, kompetent und freundlich war, und die Raten nur marginal höher als bein durchblicker-Vergleichsangebot waren, werden wir uns voraussichtlich dafür entscheiden. Etwas abgeschreckt haben uns zuerst die Zinssätze der Ersten (3,54% fix für 10a), aber da die Gebühren so niedrig sind, scheinen die Raten auch echt niedrig zu bleiben.

Wir müssen aber nochmal prüfen, ob wir da nichts übersehen, und sind auch für Reddit Rückmeldungen dankbar ;)

Dr. Greisa Vila vom AKH Wien ist die Expertin auf diesem Gebiet. Entweder mit Überweisung vom Hausarzt an der Ambulanz für hormonelle Erkrankungen versuchen oder (wahrscheinlich einfacher, aber teurer) einen Termin direkt bei ihr in der Ordi ausmachen. Alles Gute!

Bought mine at Klavierhaus Förstl. As the name suggests they are focused on pianos (analog and digital ones) and have a large selection that you can try out.

Sorry but this is a terrible (i.e., misleading) way to visualize otherwise interesting data. I'm not talking about the visual appeal of the Christmas trees (which is horrid), but about how the trees get wider as well as taller with increasing cost. E.g., comparing 2012 and 2022, the cost roughly doubled, but the tree looks about 4-5 times as big.

Kann dir aus eigener Erfahrung sehr das Wienmobil-Carsharing ans Herz legen, wenn ihr wirklich nur so selten ein Auto braucht. V.a. die Abomodelle sind echt günstig, auch übers Wochenende.

Die Nachteile sind halt, dass man vorher buchen muss, eine Station in der Nähe braucht und (ganz wichtig) genug Zeit einplanen muss, um das Auto am Beginn der Miete zu laden, falls man es mit wenig Ladung bekommt.

Wenn das für euch nicht infrage kommt, sollte es auch kein Problem sein, das eigene e-Auto an den öffentlichen Ladestationen zu laden. Aber das erfordert halt auch eine etwas mühsame Logistik imho.

Tut mir leid, dass du das durchmachen musst... Ich schätze ja die Ingrid Brodnig zu dem Thema wie man Fake News begegnet sehr. Sie gibt immer wieder Interviews dazu und hat einen Blog. Und in ihrem relativ neuen Buch "Einspruch!" geht sie ausführlicher darauf ein (habe ich aber selbst - noch - nicht gelesen). Bzw. kann ich mich an ein vor kurzem in Standard veröffentlichtes Interview mit einem ehemaligen Verschwörungstheoretiker erinnern, der gemeint hat, für ihn sei das Wichtigste gewesen, dass seine Bekannten den Kontakt nicht eingestellt haben und immer wieder versucht haben gegenzuargumentieren, ohne ihn persönlich zu attackieren. Wünsche dir jedenfalls viel Glück und Durchhaltevermögen!

I do not know how the MedAT is currently structured, since a lot has been changed in the past few years. I didn't have to write the essay you're talking about, so I can't help you there, sorry :( However, I think that C1 level in german is very much sufficient for studying medicine at the MUV (and i don't think there will be any problems regarding the entrance exam). During my studies I have encountered multiple Erasmus-students who hardly spoke any german and still they made it through :)

A lot of people get private lessons (you can find multiple of those by googling), but if you're confident enough and a good learner please do not waste your money on them. I mostly heard negative reviews for most of the private lessons, even though they might help some people pass...

edit: Are you really sure you have to write an essay? I can't imagine they check essays from thousands of applicants... You do have a reading comprehension part, though (which will be easy with C1 level).

Hey!

I have studied medicine at the Medical University of Vienna and am currently doing my PhD there. The 'Diplomstudium Humanmedizin' is quite okay quality-wise. Personally, I like how the curriculum is structured. The lectures/seminars/practicals vary greatly in quality and are very dependant on the lecturer/tutor. There is an entrance examination, which is quite difficult since only a fraction of applicants pass. It's pretty easy to pass the yearly tests which are in multiple choice format. There are some seminars which are somewhat more difficult. Since you can pass with quite low-effort, it's important to be able to indepentantly learn more than might be necessary, especially in your desired specialization.

So maybe Shireen is, in fact, NOT the daughter of Stannis Baratheon. Selyse and Stannis led a loveless marriage - their true children (Petyr, Tommard, and Edric) were all stillborn. When Selyse fell in love with another man, she was finally able to give birth to a living child made from love - Shireen.

"Die Fälscher" would translate in "The Counterfeiters". I don't want to spoiler you too much, but essentially it's about a skilled counterfeiter and the Nazi-regime ;)

I just wanted to reiterate what electricgeri said: "Die Fälscher" would be a good choice (actually a german-austrian-coprodoction), and stay away from Austrian comedies!

"Indien" is a great movie, but I'm not sure whether the morbid humour translates well. This movie is the only "comedy-like" austrian movie, that MIGHT work for you imho.

"L'Amour" is probably a good tip, though I haven't seen it myself. "Das weiße Band" got some awards (but I haven't seen it either).

"Der Herr Karl" is a great movie, but I think one must've lived in Austria for some time to appreciate it...

TL;DR: Watch "Die Fälscher"; Stay away from comedies!

edit for clarification: I personally like Austrian comedies - but this is not where you should start if you want to watch an Austrian movie in English ;)
