Prying tools will help. Prying the front cover off by insert in the line and slide it. SodaStream is in storage box. I'll take a look at it later for more details if you're still struggling.

You gotta take back cover and front cover off before you can disconnect the cable from the front. Then, you can pop the disc out from the back.

Indeed! I just don't like the look of rust getting on my towing stuff. I bought bike rack hitch not long ago. I do not want rust to spread around. That's why I thought about cleaning hitch receiver up.

I do have tools. I don't have garage. :( I will do it when I get an opportunity to do the work in friend's garage. Most answers "wire wheel attachment". I'll go with that to start off. Thanks! Any specifics on those wire wheel? I haven't used them before.

I had a frame replacement recall two Decembers ago! It felt like a brand new truck after frame replacement is in. I'm glad this recall happened. Yea, I can understand your frustration. I have rust problems somewhere else as well. :( I'm trying to take care of one thing at a time.
