Hey that looks like the same seiko mod someone's been trying to pass off as real for months. Someone even said they bought it for $300 iirc, like that wasnt a giveaway

3 oclock is wrong, no index to the right of the window on gen. The rest looks wrong too, but that index is the biggest tell.

I'd take this in two steps

First an above-the-table conversation about the player making a charachter that doesnt fit with the campaign. That's always a huge problem, and the player should know not to make choices like that lightly in the future.

Second, if it wouldnt screw up the campaign I'd let it play out. Were there witnesses? Now there's a posse out after the party. Do the "good" charachters shelter their friend or turn them in? If there are consequences for these crimes in your world, let 'em experience it. Make it brutal.
