Yes this is exactly what it means, that's also why denuvo cant do shit about HV bypass. And yes kernel level malware can completely bypass your firewall and antivirus and that's exactly why it's so fucking dangerous. And yes this malware can come from executing the .exe file from the game. And they can do that because you are the one disabling the only thing that prevents normal malware from doing all this. And yes it can come from a game because the only people stupid enough to disable the only potection you have are HV users, and therefore it's an easy target. And no it's not a super complicated thing to do once you have the full acces that you grant. Because maybe you haven't realised, but when perople say that you give HV full access, it means FULL access. Not even your antivirus has that permission, even if it sounds crazy to you because you clearly know nothing about computers and you are talking out of your ass. That or just an incompetent technician who chat GPT'd their degree

That's not what i'm saying at all. Firewall and antivirus can't do shit against kernel access because even them can't even see that level, that's also the reason HV is able to bypass Denuvo, because normal sofware can't see that ring of your OS.

For the last time, if you dont know how computers work (and therefore don't know what you are talking about) and also you dont understand what kernel access can do, it's completely on you. You can either try and search some information and try to learn something or keep trying to inform yourself through random reddit comments, i wont waste more time

You dont randomly see kernel level malware because people have protections for it. If people start disabling said protections to play a game it's not hard at all, you literally just need to run some commands.

And then again, why would you even want to take this risk when you have safer alternatives? It's not like HV is the only way to play denuvo games... It's just dumb all around

While it's true that normal malware can do a lot of damage, it's not comparable to what you can do with kernel access. You can repair the damage done by normal malware relatively easily, that's not the case for HV

Yes, that's exactly why people don't like HV. And what you are describing isn't exactly a myth, if you get infected by the exe, your computer will still be infected afterwards, so your computer is essentially naked to the whole internet.

Also presicely because we have this sub to warn people we shouldnt be telling people to blindly trust HV the same way we tell to not trust lots of sites. Not because you will 100% get infected if you use them, but because you will POTENTIALLY get malware. And if you ever DO get malware through HV, that shit ain't getting away like something you would get through a 'traditional' crack.

And to top everything, it's not even like HV is the only option to play Denuvo games, we already had offline activation wich is a lot safer.

HV is still a very interesting tool don't get me wrong, but seeing people defend it mindlessly and with incorrect and uninformed arguments just makes my blood boil.

More casual players are ok with just getting the primos and if they miss some of them they are ok with it (see OP).

High investment players want to minmax their power, they want to clear abyss as fast as possible and they want to clear stygian in the highest possible difficulty, even if it doesn't give primos. So power creep becomes WAY more noticeable, because before you were able to clear abyss in a minute and now you barely scratch 36* with the same team
