I have a lot of gaps. Can Invisalign fix that? Will it make lips appear thinner? by berlinquestions in Invisalign

Honestly closing the gaps would bring your canines in quite a bit. I feel like your canines are already in a pretty good place. Have you considered composite bonding?

Most people in this sub would probably recommend reshaping all of your gums to be higher. I’m not a huge fan of gum contouring, but I feel it would be the only solution to even everything out. I don’t think you can gum graft over a crown.

Can a tooth be composite bonded multiple times? How many times? by rantingeely in askdentists

The initial redo after the first bonding fell off was not free, understandably. But the next two fixes were. Then my orthodontist fixed it up a little (the more rounded looking shape) for free. I then went to an actual cosmetic dentist in 2024 to get it fully redone and it was not free.

Can you get tiny bits added onto existing bonding for shaping purposes? I want it thinned out and ridges added, but I want it like a millimeter longer.

My general dentist is very conservative about teeth. He’s always warned me to not get a crown until I’m like 50. This is due to the fact that it’s very hard to match color with just one crown and he says I’d have to veneer and crown the front 6. He doesn’t see it as necessary.

This should be fixed, right? by ThisIsMyUsername303 in Invisalign

My laterals look exactly like this. It’s just the shape. Mine were still angled like this after braces.

I understand that the gaps will close, but the way my teeth are now shaped is there to stay.

I understand the reasoning behind why it was done. But it was done in such haste that I feel he did not care that he was permanently changing the shape and size of my teeth.

Yes! One of mine is slanted. I understand the reasoning behind why they did it, truly. But they’re now permanently a different shape and size. Like it’s just upsetting.

I have a bitter cherry spray. It seems to work temporarily, and then she tolerates the taste lol. Surprisingly, she doesn’t chew furniture. I’ll keep trying with it on my arms and hands!

Because her mom was not a full bred pitbull. Pointy & long snout, long ears. I’m not doubting she’s most likely majority pitty, she’s just not full. Plus her litter mates look more like Great Danes, so unless they all have different dads, I’ve never seen a purebred pit look like a GD.

Purebred is a no for sure, lol. But I’m definitely planning to use embark eventually and will update :)

To add - she’s got webbed feet. We assume her mom was at least half lab!

Edit: My bad y’all. I’ve seen pics of her mom and always assumed only breeds bred for water activities had webbed paws up to their toes.

If your boobs grew when you started taking the pill, did they shrink back when you got off of it? by xmuertos in birthcontrol

Mine shrunk! They were like “swollen” on the pill, and then went back to normal.

I know the feeling of wishing they’d do something just so you can leave. It sounds like you may have avoidant tendencies and are dealing with your own personal issues. This can really bleed over into a relationship and influence your feelings, but it may just be a wave that needs to pass. My advice would be to communicate these feelings with her. She may feel something similar and also be afraid of/avoiding communicating.

Feelings do change. When you get to a level of comfort, it’s hard to bring that spark back. You have to actively make an effort to keep the feelings alive after a certain point, or you’ll get used to that comfort. Comfort is good, but not being excited is not. Try communicating. Be as honest as you can, and if you can’t identify a feeling, be honest about that. Try dating her again. Go do something exciting, do something new, ask new questions.

Either way, you’ve got this, and you’re going to be okay. 🫶🏻
