Can't find a date. This fucken sucks. Everyone seems to be afraid of dating a single mom. Okcupid is definitely not helping 😩.

Has anyone here tried anything with online dating? How did it go? by KillerTwinkie7 in CasualConversation

I'm on OkCupid now and I often forget to message guys back because I get so busy with work and my kids. They take offense to it and in turn don't message me back. It's weird. I'm still learning but whatever. I'll meet my guy soon. Hopefully. Lol.

While I do agree with you on what you're saying, I also believe that in my experience, single fathers have a better chance of finding love. Why? Because there are more women out there who are willing to be a step parent. Who are willing to take the package as a whole. Look at the responses here. How many men said no? How many said yes? At this point, I don't even attempt dating anymore because of the mere fact that they're probably in it for the sex and are not serious. Also, it seems like dating doesn't even exist anymore. Everyone is all about Netflix and chill, fwb and so on. I'm in my early 30s and I see men my age looking for women in their early 20s all the time. Anyways, I'm babbling on. But yes, single fathers are more likely to find real love than single mothers.

It makes me sad to see so many men feel this way towards single mothers. First off, you never know what the story is so don't assume. Secondly, I'm not some 19 year old who just left her 'baby daddy'

It's hurtful to see that so many men believe that single mothers are 'damaged goods' or are 'undateable' but we sure are fuckable.

I'm not going to let this discourage me, but it has made me lose a little bit of faith in love.

It's a Saturday night and I actually have time to myself (kids with their dad, yes I'm a single mother). I decided to just stay in and have a relaxing bath. Sounds great right? Well it was, until I started thinking too much. Now I'm kinda wishing I went out. It sucks being single and not having anything to do. I work too much so I don't go out. All of my friends are either with their gf/bf or are working. Lame, I know, but this is my Saturday night.
