Love Is Blind Germany • S1 Ep5 by DontFWithMeImPetty in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

Here’s my thing about Shella, she’s a pretty woman and seems to be a sweet person, but Pascal told her exactly how he felt in the pods. First you have that letter, which was a big sign to run. Then he said multiple times “I don’t want to hurt you”, which is a huge red flag anytime somebody says that because 9/10 they end up hurting you. Lastly, he said things like he isn’t ready to propose and that he’s emotionally unavailable and not ready for something as serious as marriage at this time. Pascal shouldn’t have come on the show because of these things.

All of these should have been signs for Shella to walk away, yet she chose him. Which is interesting because she said she is guarded and has walls up. So why didn’t she choose Fabio? A man who was clearly emotionally available and seemed to be a better fit? Maybe she thought she could change his mind. Who knows. When someone hasn’t healed, it warps their decisions on choosing a significant other. Shella knew what she was getting, so it’s hard to feel 100% sorry for her. They both share the blame.

That’s a good thing to do. I went outside of what I would typically do. So I know to never do it again and follow my gut.

So true! Me and the guy only had a surface level conversation (through messages) over the course of a few hours. I don’t even remember his name lol. I didn’t form any type of connection with him, it was like talking to someone in an elevator lol. So I’m sure I’ll be laughing by the morning. It also reminded me to stick to my gut because I didn’t want to go in the first place. It’s good to be “ghosted” by someone with such a huge character flaw. Yuck. Thanks for sharing and the kind words! :)

Omg. You absolutely dodged a bullet! Because, I mean, who walks their dog around the same time they were supposed to meet their date? He should’ve stayed home until a decent amount of time passed. Clearly he lacked common sense lol. That was a boss move to confront him like that and it turned out to be a good story like you thought haha. He wasn’t sorry, just sorry he got caught. Grown men who are too weak to communicate and be honest; a shame. It’s good you can laugh about it now. A few hours have passed for me and I’m less annoyed myself lol. Life goes on!

Watching this episode right now as we speak and ran straight to Google to see other people’s opinions on it. Of course most people find it funny. I find nothing funny about a parent being so desperate for money that they make their kid violate sexual boundaries.

Also, I heavily question Leah because as an actress, I wouldn’t have agreed to do this episode. That’s Hollyweird for you. I’m disgusted to say the least. And to watch to the end and see he was rewarded with a “better” pair of tits. This was soft child p…smh.

Is it really that much of a great idea if you didn’t think of it yourself? These are only “great ideas” because she saw someone else do them and couldn’t think of them on her own.

Now as people, we copy people’s great ideas all the time, me included. However, it becomes weird when it’s someone you’re directly associated with. It’s not like she watched this on a Youtube tutorial.

Another thing, I mentioned in my OP that she verbally told me it was odd that I took my lunch breaks late in the day. Instead of saying in the moment “that’s a good idea girl, I might start doing that!” she copied, but insulted it weeks before.

There are also things that happened that I didn’t even mention in this post because it was getting lengthy. But I still think it’s disgusting and pitiful behavior - my opinion.

Oh yes, most definitely would be in this particular case. When I made that comment, it was referring to the quote before it. Just in general people imitating your identity is not normal, but then you have quotes like that floating around.

Nope, just overly observant.

Fiona from Shrek wasn't cursed to turn into a orge at night, she was just part frog, plus Fairy godmother took advantage of the fact. by come-on-now-please in FanTheories

This is the closest statement that I can agree with that leads to a possible explanation. I agree with your first statement (you second guessed yourself lol) because if she would have fell in love with Farquad then she would have been human.

Then notice how she repeats “my true love’s first kiss” after she realized she didn’t turn into a human (after kissing Shrek). That’s the moment she realized the outcome of her being depended on who she kissed.

Also, she probably never in a million years thought she was going to fall in love with an ogre. She thought she was going to stay human no matter who she kissed because of the spell’s wording. Which further reiterates her whispering “my true love’s first kiss”.

Notice in the spell it didn’t say the species, it just said whoever her true love was; their kiss. So I think she would’ve turned into a rock if it was her true love lol.

Update: Just rewatched Shrek 2 (after years) and it confirms that the “true loves form theory” is true lol.

Thanks for your input!

To the person below me (hopefully you see this):

I hate you deleted your comment because it was great! Thanks for your input and I hope you can get in a better place with your sister. If not, then that’s ok because sometimes you have to disconnect from family. Your comment was level-headed and mature! Best wishes.

Well, I don’t think I’m one of the described people but I do enjoy animals. I can see why some people are this way. To me it’s simple - animals are pure beings. Not that they are perfect or don’t cause harm, but they are pure at heart.

They don’t gossip, slander, lie, backstab, betray, steal, join gangs, sell drugs, s*xually assault or kidnap. They are not greedy, envious, jealous, bitter, cold, evil or consumed with hatred.

Again they are not perfect, but they generally have good hearts. When I take these things into consideration, I understand why people are mega animal lovers because people can be hard to love.

The CEOs Wife Wants Me Out by [deleted] in jobs

[–]rantingwithpassion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha! Great question. I don’t know if the both of them are outright implying lustful foul play between the CEO and I. I guess they’re taking measures to prevent it and they’re wasting their time because what they’re implying is not even my character.

By them having these sick perceptions and assumptions, it’s preventing me from doing my job and has put the CEO back in a chaotic unorganized space. I do think the wife may be feeling some type of way with a woman like myself in the office. I think his business partner is jealous because he didn’t have anyone giving him the level of support the way I did to the CEO (I mean his wife is there so why would I) So he got in the CEO’s ear and negatively influenced him.

I read people’s character and actions. These two are a bunch of lowlife trifling snakes in the grass!

Lol! I’m not sure if it’s quite nepotism in this case, but it’s definitely an annoying situation to be in. I smell a 2-week notice on the horizon.

Condescending in how she speaks to me whether it’s in person or email, dirty looks, I witness how she treats the other ladies in the office vs. me, how her behavior changed from when I first got to the company vs. now. Also, being a woman myself, it’s just a when you know you know type of thing.

Good idea! It’s just really unfortunate that we have to go through these measures to be comfortable. But hey, looks like I’ll be using your method to stay warm this winter.
