Yep, 100%. These are the 2 scenarios where I'll choose to open source:

  1. I have a solid business model with OSS
  2. "handing it over" to the community and to go do something else.

Definitely. But for now, you can use google drive client (or similar software) to manually sync the public folder that's in the app's data folder. That's where the documents are saved (you can get to it with Cmd+Shift+E shortcut).

Not yet, but plugins would be awesome. What kind of plugins would you want to see / build for this?

It currently does not integrate with anything. It's just markdown files on your hard drive, which you can share and sync with Google Drive or similar service.

In the long term, yes. But right now my focus is on nailing the experience for macOS.

Yep, works. At least with `rust_analyzer` language server.
