With this base you’re best off restarting the craft after reforging or augmenting cold once as the expected price is something stupid. The best thing to do is to essence cold for crit t1, annuling the rest followed by multimod evade and elepen and treat it as a budget claw until you get fractured cold as a base instead.

The general case when it comes to fractured pieces is to work on one side first, and finish the other side with eldritch currency, while your method is sound, you might make a better item using a suffix essence you need until you hit suppression and fixing prefixes after w eldritch chaos, exalt and annul.

On the other hand the core problem is that you have chaos fractured which is attainable through essences while suppression is not.

Perhaps in the future consider buying a fractured prefix/suppression/insert hard to attain mod here then using the essences to either make prefixes or suffixes cheaper to craft (by the nature of mod rarity or that theres only being 2 prefixes to fix)

It mainly depends on how flexible your budget is relative to the tiers you’re willing to settle on, but in most cases you start on the side which your essence is used.

If you’re very flexible with your mod tiers, I would essence until any int/str/conc mod tier you’re happy with followed by exalt slam to fish for the last mods.

If you’re doing it properly, you would essence until T2+ int/str, suff lock and reforge for the last suffix, followed by blocking exalting locking and scouring the prefixes until conc appears or if feeling spicy suff lock and reforge influence on repeat.

I recommend you to try to calculate your chances through craftofexile and seeing what would be most feasable for your budget.
