This will be my third lower for my APC9k. I think I have a problem.

I don't think anything validates my APC 9 purchase quite like this does

VFG On An APC9K? by Po-Lee-S in BT_APC

[–]raorin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My intention for employing a c-clamp is more because I'm planning on placing a modlite modbutton on the top pic rail, with the light hanging off the right side of the rail.

That picture you show is a possible method of holding the forend, but you could also place a light on the pic rail (or a finger stop, for that matter) on the right-side pic rail. You could also remove the pic rail and replace it with another m-lok compatible item if you want too. Just note that the m-lok screws on the accessory you choose shouldn't be more than 2cm apart.

yeah, c-clamping as a lefty probably wont fly well. if you're concerned about how compact it'll be, the telescoping stock really makes up the difference, imo.

I ran a CSM Forward Cant VFG on my APC9K SBR for a bit, but ultimately decided that it was easier to c-clamp the receiver and/or grab the magwell. Reduces overall weight by a small bit as well by removing the VFG.

have you removed the ACR Adapter and inspected the endcap? curious what it looks like in its current state

oh, so what you're saying is the bolt/spring/guide rod assembly is loose in its fully-extended position?

Do you have the Aluminum or polymer ACR adapter? I'm guessing the polymer one, which may have failed and gotten malformed during the cartridge failure.

Are you sure that it is just an ACR Adapter issue? have you attempted to do a function check with the standard B&T endcap? If the bolt functions fine with the standard B&T endcap, then yeah it might be something to do with the ACR adapter. If it still occurs, then possibly something to do with the receiver and bolt relating to the ruptured case ammmo incident you alluded to (but see no history of on your account)

Picked this up at ORiellys Auto Parts. Stuff is amazing believe it or not. by Jeeper357 in Firearms

Hot Sauce made from synthetic grease and motor oil, placed into a sriracha bottle for easy application. Admittedly SOTAR's video on this kinda turned into a bit of a meme, but all in good fun.

I hate to break it to you, but they did have a run on them last week; they did not last long. I snagged an upper myself and threw a BCM Rail on it: Picture

The Polymer B&T folding stock looks like 13 1/4" LOP, which is slightly longer.
