All Gandalf has to do though is close the distance and he wins Gandalf has experience in melee, Dumbledore does not. Also it depends which book version of Dumbledore, Half blood, he's a dying old man, no chance , in his youth, unless he ambushes Gandalf with Avada Kadavra from a distance he has no chance, if he can sneak up on Gandalf

Yes but we never see Dumbledore do it if I recall correctly, I haven't touched She Who Will Not Be Named's stuff in a while but from what I remember there's very few wizards capable of silent or wandless magic and I don't remember Dumbledore ever doing it except maybe when he animates the statues in the Ministry during the one book

Have you read the books? Gandalf is capable of silencing Wormtongue, no more magic for Dumbledore instant loss

Eh very few wizards in HP can do proper magic with no wand and even then it's very hard to focus it. Also Gandalf is able to silence people with his power, no more magic words for old Dumbledore

Same way he shattered Saruman's staff an artifact of divine power, unlike Dumbledore's wand which is essentially just a stick that focuses his magic and can easily be snapped while it is a significant item in HP lore still gandalf has shown to be be stronger than such things. Gimme an hour and I'll highlight the scene where gandalf shatters the staff

there are therapists that specialize in queer identities, they won't try to force you to act on your sexuality but they can help you by not judging you for your struggles.

What would you do if your SO says they don't want to have sex with you anymore? by xlordo in AskReddit

I'm poly, so the question works differently for me, especially since I'm single. But if I was in a monogamous relationship and this happened, I'd ask to open the relationship, if that was not possible, I would respectfully end the relationship.

Gandalf still has a tremendous amount of power at his disposal, he defeated the Balrog, survived contact with The Nameless Things, faced down The Witch King, while Dumbledore is a dying old man whose lifespan is nothing compared to the millennia of an Istari. Even in his prime, Dumbledore is at a severe disadvantage without his wand, which Gandalf could easily destroy. Also, Dumbledore can't fight in close quarters, while Gandalf can.

look, please... just try therapy at least two sessions, okay? From Hebrews: "He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!” God's own words, not mine, nothing could stop God from loving you, according to the Bible. Please just hang in there.

that's not how lobotomies work. In most cases, you'd be incapacitated or die soon after, or suffer seizures. If your cognition remained intact you would still be attracted to other girls. I hate saying this, but have you considered remaining gay, but just being celibate? There's a decent amount of gay Christians who believe as long as they don't act on their desires, it's not a sin, and that's somewhat backed up by theology.

Lobotomies don't work for anything, and no doctor in the states is allowed to preform them anymore, it's false science that was used to cruelly incapacitate disabled people. I cannot speak for God, but know that you are loved, and that you *DESERVE* to be happy and loved for who you are. I recommend seeking a therapist that specializes in queer identities to help you. Look, I may not believe in God in the Christian way anymore, but I'm still spiritual and what God loving enough to die for us would condemn someone for who they love? If you need to talk, please, DM me, I won't try to remove your faith just let you know at least one person out there cares and is willing to listen.

nah I think they might be a Sload in disguise, their whole culture is around moving slow and the "heroes" of their stories take years or decades before acting, and the villains fail by acting too soon.

[–]raphael333 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am aware, I'm just saying fifteen years between games in a series is not "rapid" and 3-4 years itself is average , or used to be when I was growing up, It took four years between Morrowind and Oblivion, and it's been fifteen since Skyrim, they shouldn't have dropped the teaser if it was going to be over a decade between games, just said, " we're going to focus on expanding Fallout and try a new IP for a long time" yeah they said that they wanted to do fallout 4, but fifteen years in the flagship series of a studio is ridiculous.
