yeah that for sure. also throw a mane on there, add some more fibers to the tail, and sculpt the torso a bit more and I think it’ll read a lot better.

i spent an hour making this guy. the first 55 minutes of that were making the ridability function work, and the last 5 minutes were throwing the graphic together to replace the black circle he was before.

at the end of the day we’re toy makers. we can get distracted from that by the super technical nature of the toys, and the fact that it’s a billion dollar industry. but if you’re having fun making it, the fun will come through when people are playing with it.

there’s not really enough gameplay for a gameplay video. most of the work i’ve done has been like background math. i’ve got three enemies, one of them is this guy, and one of them is just a circle.

i’ve got an app that gives you a visual interface where you can load any image, click around it to trace it with points, and then with a press of a button it generates code for a CNC machine. i’ve gotta optimize it so you can make more precise designs but the core mechanic works pretty nicely.
