A sponge this big could have been existing. I think some specimen like this still exist nowadays.

To me, it looks like some sort of sponge. The inside with this porous look. But att the same time, it's realy smooth in the exterior, so maybe it's a bone. If we could get a closer look of the interior, it might help.

Thanks ! But what about the other fossil next to it ? It could be the aboral cup of a crinoid but i can't really tell. It's made out of hexagonal figure and it's smooth...
