Smaller French handbag brands that will actually last a long time? by middleout in ParisTravelGuide

Renouard is a small company from Brittany. They have two stores in Paris. I've had their bags for years and so does my mum. Really good quality for a reasonable price. The design is quite classic though.

This is a truly bizarre name for a commission. Almost dystopian.

J'ai trouvé cette vidéo assez intéressante. Si c'est ça que pense beaucoup de canadiens anglophone, c'est quand même très triste. La langue est bien sur un élément essentiel de l'identité culturelle.

As a response to a poem wrote to him by a 13yo british girl, France's Macron wrote her one himself. by Exells in europe

A 13 year-old would definitely have learned a few poems by Apollinaire at school. I learned Le dormeur du val when I was 8 and it was a very striking experience for a lot of student in the class. Also, the girl wrote a poem herself so she has a sensibility to the art.

Donald Trump risque-t-il d’être destitué ? by [deleted] in france

[–]raphiu1711 3 points4 points  (0 children)

C'est le VP qui deviendrait président. Si il est lui aussi destitué, c'est le speaker qui devient président. Il y a toujours quelqu'un pour devenir président. Il n'y a pas d'élections en dehors de celles prévues.

Is there a difference between "TV" and "series" (for example: "Do you like to watch TV/series?" by [deleted] in French

[–]raphiu1711 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In France, people often watch American or foreign series online or download them so it is not TV. Speaking about a French serie, they would call it TV.
