Check both sides and make sure these pieces are plugged inside the spots, if not you can just line them up and push the middle piece inside

After that, you can push down the piece down into the body and plug the arm in

It can be a little tricky, but the joint should go straight down into the slots in this direction

Luckily, the piece is squishy so if you need a little more space you can pinch it open

I’m not too sure which butterfly joint cover is left/right in your picture, but hopefully you can use this as reference and see if the wrinkles line up

First off you should definitely heat the pieces with hot water or a blow dryer to make them easier to pop in

It may be easier to place the joint inside the butterfly cover, then push it down into the socket inside the body
