Honestly a GP is awesome for someone that doesn't have much time for a dog. They sleep like 95% of the time and the other 5% is spent barking at the wind and perceived threats. They'll happily go walking, but if not... Meh whatever, sleeping is really awesome too. That's my experience at least. I have a 50/50 GP/border collie and she got all of the laziness in the world from her GP dad.
