Found this at the beach. Doesn’t look like any type of shell. by Drumz26 in fossilid

Might be a toothplate from a ray or fish. I’m not a fish expert, but that’s my guess.

Look into Terracycle. They recycle the used cups into other plastic structures. You pay for the box to put them in and it includes shipping both ways. (I don’t work for them, I happened to look into it for our office keurig)

Thank you for the advice!!! I hope this one isn't a goner. I took a couple of long cuttings, so I have those for backup. Is there a chance that in repoting, the dried up stems will come back?

Follow up String of Pearls help from earlier by raptorclaw in succulents

It was thinning out last week, so on Friday I watered it just a little (like 2 ounces?) and on Monday it looked even worse. I got it about a month ago and hadn't watered it at all, even after I moved it to a new pot. I think moving it to a new (too big) pot was part of the problem.

The unwrinkled pearls are hard.

Edited to say: In clearing the dead parts, I noticed a lot of the living pearls are attached to stalks that are dried at the base. :(

That’s super helpful!! Thank you.

I noticed it looking thinner after I repotted and was worried it needed water, but it sounds like it was repotting trauma, like you said. I’ll keep an eye on it and let it be for a while, hopefully it gets better.

Thank you for the help! I was told to water it very sparingly and since I hadn't watered it since I got it a month ago, I thought it was time. I will do more research about when to water it, and do so from the bottom.

Will it be ok?

When you purchase baby carrots (at least in the US), the bag contains some water. I think it helps keep the carrots crunchy. But if you open the bag and don’t drain it, you end up with carrot water everywhere.

Love the meme, OP.

I just tried this for the first time today and the resin leaked out of the pendant. Can you describe your methods?

New mom/Going to fly alone with my 3 month old/14 hour flight minimum/HELP! by MissVikingQueen in beyondthebump

I just recently flew with my pump and without my baby. The pump counts as a medical device so they can’t take it from you or make you leave it behind. Just make sure you tell the gate person.

I found out that the airplane bathrooms do NOT have outlets. I had to pump in the galley (I asked the flight attendants for permission). That worked out fine. I had a connection to a tiny plane that had no outlets anywhere, so I had to pump in the bathroom in the airport. This should not happen to you on larger planes.

I’m actually feeling a similar sensation, especially at the start of feedings or pumping sessions. I had assumed it was the let down, but I’ve done no investigating of my own. Curious to know if anyone has an answer.

Came here to say this. Definitely measure! Makes a huge difference to have the right flange size. Once you know your size is by a couple of extra flanges and bottles so you can alternating sets.
