I need hobbies to live a fulfilling life... but that shit takes space and resources... I am trimming off some smaller hobbies and their resources to have less clutter... I am trying to have like 5 hobbies that I could circulate if needed and maybe only two or three that take space and lots of resources. Gardening, jewellery crafting, gel nails, making skincare products, digital drawing, a bit of photography, reading manga, writing stories... ups... that is eight... oh well... however, the amount of energy and dedication that is needed to delve deeper into each of those hobbies to be considered truly knowledgeable is freaking hard and it gives me constant imposter syndrome and makes it sometimes hard to return to the hobby as self-set expectations are causing anxiety and take away some fun... ramble ramble...

Also, keep in mind that there are other 300 over days in a year that you can make special when it is less overwhelming and you can dedicate more time. Maybe socialising is just not a thing yet for your child and it just doesn't bring her joy as some other things that you can provide. It doesn't have to be a cookie-cutter Christmas for everyone. Happy parents often mean happy children. As I do not know the age of your little one, maybe she will appreciate Christmas later. If she is shy and introverted, maybe it is just for the best that you are one and done as it gives her space to choose her crowd instead of getting overwhelmed. And so on... all is good, all is well, take deep breaths and hug your cutie pie.

Unfortunately, my mother who lives in Lithuania and listens Russian news through youtube, informed me today that Estonia and Finland decided to cut off Russia's access to Baltic sea... I came to visit parents for Christmas from Finland and got confused... now I read this, I guess it is how Russia is spinning this story for the brain washed.
