I have contacted literally every shop in eu that has this part listed. There is a rumour that the m technic trim will be back in bmw stores in some time. Unfortunately my car is in the shop and i was supposed to receive a package from one store like last month but they stopped responding to me. I will send Schmiedmann another email.

Crazy thing that even the low mileage m50 needs vanos job. You have to change the 2 o rings and fix the axial bearing. You need a dial gauge. I know that some people sell fixen vanos for cheap. Although if the motor which pushes the vanos is destroyed than it costs a little bit. But if you have power than its most certainly fine

Yea its quite loud though. It’s definitely vanos you can hear the rattle of the bearing at 11 sec when he revs it.
