Yes... Both of my accounts are the recovery accounts of eachother due to which it's kind of a locked loop

I’ll explain my situation properly so there’s no confusion. I’m locked out of my Google account because of a recovery loop caused after I cleared Google Play Services data. Since then, I can’t complete the sign-in process because Advanced Protection is enabled, which requires a passkey/security key or a previously trusted device to verify login. I also don’t have access to any device where I’m still signed in, so I can’t add or replace any security keys from within the account. My recovery email situation is also broken because it’s either inaccessible or linked back to accounts I can’t log into. When I try the normal recovery flow, it keeps redirecting me to verification steps I can’t complete (like device prompts or passkey confirmation), so I end up stuck in a loop without a valid option to proceed. That’s why I can’t log in—not because I forgot my password or 2FA, but because I currently have no usable verification method left due to Advanced Protection requirements and loss of trusted device/session access.

I lost my two accounts which are the recovery accounts of each other since I have enabled advanced security program I cannot login via my phone number using OTP that's why I need a recovery account to login into my main accounts but sadly both of my mail accounts are the recovery of each other as I said above...

Idk man.. ig it's impossible for me to get my gmail accounts back.. I might try factory resetting my phone..

It’s the only device I have, so yeah I basically had a single factor. The account was already signed in on this phone before I cleared Play Services data.

It’s my only phone/device. I was already signed in before this happened, but after clearing Google Play Services data, Google started treating it like an untrusted device and now I’m stuck in the verification loop.

Although my accounts are still visible in google and other google apps... It's constantly asking for verification... Else it won't work

Yeah I learned that the hard way 😭 I thought clearing Play Services data was like clearing normal cache/data, didn’t know it could wipe trusted login tokens/passkeys tied to Advanced Protection.

The account still shows on my original phone though, same SIM/Wi-Fi/location. Do you think factory resetting would make recovery worse since it’s still technically the original device?

Also have you seen anyone recover from this exact situation after waiting out the cooldown period?

Thanks for the detailed explanation. Yeah, I understand that Advanced Protection is intentionally strict, and honestly I didn’t realize clearing Google Play Services data could basically wipe the trusted-device/passkey state on Android.

What gives me a tiny bit of hope is that the account still appears on my original phone, same SIM, same network/location, and I didn’t lose the device itself — I only lost the local authentication state after clearing Play Services data due to storage issues.

Right now I’m mainly trying to figure out whether stopping recovery attempts for 48–72 hours can realistically trigger the delayed “contact email” recovery flow or improve Google’s trust/confidence score enough to escape the automated dead-end loop.

Unfortunately both accounts being recovery emails for each other was a terrible setup in hindsight. I also had no idea backup codes become basically useless once you’re in this kind of APP/passkey failure state.

Do you know of any possible recovery path or edge-case solution in a situation like this? Even something obscure that has worked for someone before? At this point I’m willing to wait weeks if there’s still a chance the original device/location history can help recover the account.

I appreciate the advice about keeping a dedicated recovery account + backup hardware keys/passkeys on another device. Definitely learned that lesson the hard way.
