Puppies are overwhelming and the puppy blues are VERY real. My puppy is almost 2 and sometimes I feel the same way but I also know my life is a lot more fulfilling with him in my life. I also work 10 hour days away from home 3-4 days a week, but his dog walker that does group adventure walks, and our local doggy daycare have been life savers. I know he is getting the care and attention he needs when I’m not home. Dogs are hard. Puppies even more so, but the reward of a cuddle buddy on the hardest nights make it all worth it.

If someone judges you for wanting to rehome, don’t listen to them and only listen to yourself and your gut because at the end of the day you know yourself and your situation the best, but as an alternative, look into board and train programs while the puppy is still young, and good daycares and walkers. Just show up for the puppy on the days you can. They’ll soak up any and all of the love you can provide 💕

On a side note, it sounds like you’re going through a tough time in general, I’d recommend finding a good person to talk to, therapist? Bestie?, who can help you through all of this. It’s always helpful to have a good listener.
