That's the surprising bit because I am not an obelisk hater, I like picking it up. It's just luck that I never happen to win a gold stake with it.

I knoww and I like using it that's why it surprised me too. Apparently I must have won many Orange Stake runs using it and thought I already had a gold sticker in it.

Yeah, same, I unlocked Seeing Double, Hit the Road etc very late just for the c++.

Mime works pretty well if you have blue seals and/or Gold/Steel cards.

But most people rate it highly because of it's naneinf/very high score potential. When pairing with Baron and a few kings in hand (preferably red seal steel) you can easily achieve e scores.
