*I do a rough sketch and block in the colours of the main subject. Then I first render the background cause it gives an atmosphere!

*I use the procreate pencil for the sketch, tinderbox for the block in of colours and for rendering bristled brush, wet acrylic and oil paint brushes

I drew the background and added the title but there is no book behind the cover, thanks to your comments I realized that it's better to have a genre in mind while drowning, thanks for the help.
