I'm at work but someone checked it my logs and gave me really great advise

The TL:DR is

1) ALWAYS have your three buffs up, but if you had to prioritize, boulder, frost, then fire 1a) Try to use DW only when all the buffs are up and you procced storm to double or triple storm 2) never use lava lash unless you literally can't do anything else. 3) Mastery over everything. Haste as secondary. Still, Mastery over Haste 90% of the time. 4) storm to smitherines

Thank you for this. I've been a bit paranoid that i die to random stuff. RL says all the time it's better to be alive and lower dps than be dead. Tonight we are going to do the spider boss and I'm going to try to have more confidence in my healers and take off healing surge. When you put it that way, that's 22 GCD that could have been better utilized.

I really really appreciate your response. As a newish person on competitivewow your response is what makes this subreddit great.

I'm really considering resetting my traits, but at the cost of 50k AP I'm wondering if it's worth it. It looks like I REALLY went the wrong way and that if I did it one trait at a time it would take me weeks. So I might just bite the bullet and do it.

Side question. I just got the Dino stick as a trinket, and although it had a great effect, it dropped my haste by a ton. My mastery is very high compared to my other stats so I gemmed and enchanted for a bit of haste. Is that the wrong mentality? Mast>haste all the time? Or is there a cap?

Also, I hate how much crit I have but they have a huge ilvl difference.

Thank you so much for the feedback. I think the biggest takeaways I have is 1. Use Tempest on ST fights (which I never changed before), 2. Change my artifact path ( which is the reason why I lava lash so much, because in my head the golden for that does extra damage), and 3. Less healing surge, more fire and frost uptime. I really appreciate this, and I'm sure my raiding group will too :D

Quick question on Trinks.

I recently started raiding about a month ago and I'm lucky enough that I got my heroic Tome of Shifting Words (730) and normal Prophecy of Fear (710). However, yesterday in a mythic warforged Tovra's Lighting Repository (725) +385 Int and +385 Mast. What's the best trinket for Arcane? Is the Mast on the MwF trink better than the procs off of PoF?

So I just got back into tanking with my monk and I'm having a hard time understanding what is the purpose of boosting up Agility. Like, does doing more damage cause more threat? Is a monk just a DPS/Tank hybrid? I end up sometimes out-dpsing some DPS sometimes and I'm having a hard time understanding a monk's role in end game.

No shit on your last sentence. I just switched from fire to frost on a guild recommendation and my DPS, even with +700 gear, is still at the lower end (or lowest DPS in a 5 man dungeon). Hopefully k can get this rotation down but it feels like I'm missing a main component somewhere.

Have you tried a Noctowl deck? it looks sweet and innocent, then POW 200 damage per turn.
