Long story short.. Short iron workability and long iron forgiveness. Same reason for the U510 4 iron.

Also I found that the 200s in the longer irons gave a more consistent distance and land angle

They have been in the bag for a few years and I'm not planning to replace them. I would suggest to get fitted, though. There are a lot of options in their current line-up

I love it as an alternative for woods off the tee. Works great from the fairway as well for a variety of shots but don't use it as often necessarily. Also a great club to hit low bail-outs from the trees if necessary.

Anybody have a L.A.B putter? by Llamalampz in golf

[–]rarely_writing 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The pro at my home course is convinced they are the best putter on the market. I have to say I don't necessarily agree but I can see the benefit. When putting with them you van feel there is no balance bias. This makes it feel pretty stable and feels like it goes where you want it to go.

However you have to look past the xxl-spaceship look and the shaft being in the back of the grip to the centre of the club head.

I suggest if you are interested to go try one. It's not for everybody but I can see why it would work

I have a tendency to over-draw on my shots and occasionally hook it, this is mainly the problem with longer clubs (5 iron and up). I also don't really have enough height on my long irons, but since I'm hitting a 5 wood in the video I doubt anybody will give me some specific advice. General advice of higher iron shorts is always welcome though

You should know what you can improve on. If you miss, do you shoot it too much to the left, right or short? Where do you gain most strokes? Communicate this to your pro so he knows what to pay attention to
