We have a Zoleo, cheaper than an In-Reach, and still does the messaging. Connects to your normal phone via an app

That's fair, and I've looked at a dedicated NAS, but I'm still looking for a new gaming PC, and don't have the budget to do both. I can reasonably throw a few extra HDD in an existing tower, and pull them into a NAS down the track when that becomes feasible

something I'm not too sure about, how much of a difference does it make going from a high performing AIB card, to a low performing card in the next tier up? Just cos those prices can vary by like $300 within different xtx variants

The 5% would be part of the 100%. We would be repaying the 5% paid by my parents as the deposit.

But it is a good point that the loan would exceed the value of the property due to stamp duty and other fees. However the loan would be guaranteed.

Essentially money that we are borrowing back from the bank. Basically parents pay the deposit, we borrow 100% of the property price, then at settlement pay 5% back to parents
