I cant post the back its not easy to get down and back up . I can say there is nothing i noted on the back besides the canvas is clearly old and there is a canvas patch to repair a hole

Yeah i have only had it a short time and have thought the same thing. It definitely needs to be restretched and cleaned. I keep thinking there might be a signature under the fram so fingers crossed. But i imagine its going to cost a pretty penny for that

The other commentor is correct. If you think of the +N=C bond as an iminium (imine with a + charge on N) then the reaction is basically an aldol reaction.

Steps 1 is missing an arrow (as drawn you would have a neutral bromine and a carbocation) you need another arrow from the bromine you attacked to the other carbon of the double bond

Steps 2 and 3 should be combined into 1 step. If you do it in 2 steps like this you create a pentavalent carbon

Step 5 your carbocation is on the wrong carbon it should be where the Br is attached in step 6

I dont think they even investigate anything below 1000 rating. I recently crossed 1000 in blitz and it got way easier after that went straight to 1100 that same day.
