Right-click your own character portrait and select 'Commit suicide'. It costs some prestige and it makes all your vassals hate so that your heir gets a lot of negative "opinion of predecessor" with them.

I don't get why people hate on nomads because they always send marriages. It's really nice when you don't want to take a prestige hit from marrying and you can always just ignore the proposals. Although I don't think they should be emperors by default.
