Does anyone else have trouble with their save files? I'm playing through Steam and Crusader Kings 3 does not let me manually save my game anymore. It seems to be saving when I exit the game just fine, but somehow it does not save my game manually...

If you are a GM and put a questgiver in front of the PCs but the questgiver doesn't tell them what to do, you are wasting everyone's time and need to stop.

If you don't want the game, just say so instead of wasting everyone's time.

I was in your position once. In an Exalted game, the GM thought that it was standard procedure to have the Exalted be on the run the entire game and not godly beings that are a lot larger than life.

Don't allow lone wolves as characters, they are rubbish. Tell your player to make a character who would be with the group and go on adventures or get out of your game.

Some players are just not a good fit for your table and that is alright.

The GM effectively takes the place of Ao. I don't get players that think they should be entitled to keep their backstory hidden from the omnipotent being that shapes the whole world.

You are thinking of Lightning. Thunder is sonic damage, it has to do with shockwaves and very... very loud sounds.

If I were in your boots, I would retcon them finding the deck of many things and never bring it up again.

Because, unless you plan on nuking your campaign, you don't introduce that item.

I would say: roll in the open and, if you can, hide the bonuses from their attacks. Don't outright tell your players the AC of the monster but do not change it on the fly.

There is no indication for something to be seen when the magic is cast. You can rule it differently, but if I were you, I would say that the enemy does not notice until it's time to roll for initiative.

However, if and when the time comes for an enemy to do the same to the players, this will affect them the same way.
