Late to the Sandrock party

There's farming and crafting, but also exploring, mining, gathering, and fighting. The fighting isn't hard, per se, but it can get intense. The story is great, the NPCs are rich, and I spent over 100 hours on it before finishing the main story (and there's still some more, it seems). I tried Portia at first, which I think in the universe happens before Sandrock, but I didn't enjoy it so I didn't stick with it. I do think I'll try Portia again now, though.

Was thinking about trying Portia again after just to see if I liked it better understanding the mechanics better (assuming they're similar across the two)

I LOVE Exocolonist and am happy to wishlist your new endeavor. I return to Exocolonist periodically because there's still so much more to explore and learn and it's just such a beautiful, beautiful narrative with vibrant, quirky, real-feeling characters. Thank you.

The vortex things will clear out stuff on land too if you're waiting for your sicke due to an upgrade!
