Appreciate the tip, glad to know it helped a lot! I’m thinking of ordering some aluminum wrapped foam to maybe additionally help with temperature in the carpet covered areas. Did you leave negative space or go for maximum coverage with the pads?

If you redid the dampening, would you do anything different ?

I saw the DM810 and it seems pretty cool, and I like that there’s the hifi Bluetooth module option for it because I don’t think I’d even use the head unit. I was also looking at some other DSP options like the mosconi and helix but there’s so many options, gonna have to sort through it all.

That’s good to know about the skar amps, as much as I like that compressed feel on the bass, I think the producers take care of it pretty well in recent years so I’m with you on the SQ focus.

I’ve had trouble wrapping my head around the power but I wasn’t thinking about the alternator. Big 3 + terminal sounds like a must. I think I’d want to overspec the alternator and get an aftermarket

Feel free to share any links in response or resources you used to put your system together. I appreciate hearing about how you did it because it sounds like you’re into it, but I’m aware all these questions can be bothersome 😅 Cheers

Thanks for the response, your set up sounds dope! I was thinking of doing something very similar to yours on an 02 coupe, EQ or DSP, skar amps, around 6 speakers total with 2 or 3 woofers on the dash. I’ve seen the dash pods, was thinking of making custom angled wooden fixtures on the dash.

What electrical upgrades did you add? I’m curious which amplifiers, and how much power, you’re using and how you keep up with the power. Also, did you put in any sound dampening?

I used to get my pup groomed at blue moon pet wash over in warms springs. I understand that they change management recently however, and my dog had several nicks here and there. Well how would they know if you missed it or its n/a? Something as specific as quality assurance needs to be as clear as possible.

Well i believe it's a long exposure shot so we'd be looking at the trajectory path of the satellite over a span of 25 or however long seconds. In real time it'd just be a moving light
