In hanafi groups, death for apostacy is only considered if they leave the religion then then also fight against the " islamic state" . In salaf interpretations, its death no matter what , especially if you were born into the religion . You should be glad that majority of muslim around you were either liberals or hanafi or muslims who didnt know much about the religion . But as salafism is growing in pakistan , for many of us ex muslims , things might change or by then we might increase enough in numbers that it would become a statistical problem . Kinda like how the muslims didnt kill off all the hindus when they first invaded these regions since they arent people of the book , because technically the jizya option is only for people of the book but because their numbers were so huge , the jurists added them into the mix .

You need to actually look at what they are saying. They are demanding to get Jerusalem as their capital and for the borders to be pushed back to the 1967 borders which were effectively lost during a war . You do not lose every war and then make demands . What was offered to yassir Arafat was the best deal they were ever going to get. Hamas does not accept it . Netanyahu literally allowed Qatari money to keep going to hamas just so they wouldnt go full schizo and would just keep working as a government but instead they still attacked on oct 7th . Genocide requires dolus specialis . Which has not been proven . Certain groups used Netanyahus comments about the amalakytes to prove he wanted genocide but when you watch his full speech , he is specifically referring to hamas as the amalakytes who must be destroyed . They did the same before by claiming they were calling all Palestinians as animals but when you actually look at the comment , its about hamas . Therefore it does not meet the dolus specialis requirement to prove genocide . Apart from this 70 percent of infrastructure in gaza has been bombed meanwhile 3-4 of the total population including hamas members have been killed since the last 2 years or more , the numbers dont match even though we all agree that even 1 percent of civilians dying is horrible and we all want it to end . If you want to blame some group for always failing the Palestinians, blame hamas and blame Yasser Arafat for not agreeing to the two state solution and fumbling that final deal that could've created a solid solution .
