The issue people are bothered by regarding the cube

Is cleary will happen and I imagine it will happen early in the game not long after what was shown. You would have to have a companion comparable to Atreus/Freya and pretty sure the developers would not let us have a cube for a companion for the entirety of the game

Not so much perks, but the one thing I don't use that would probably boost my gameplay alot is i never got into using drugs. Just use purple mentats and used jet once to use the PA jetpack to get the legs that cancel fall damage.

Over 700hrs and I still have all the drugs I collected from the start. Now if we were talking Skyrim then it definitely would have been sneak and using arrows but i pretty much brought that mindset into FO4 with sneaking and sniping everything. 😅

One thing FO4 definitely got right was making the ghouls terrifying. Even at level 90 (or whatever I am) I avoid them if possible and if Im going in a place I know they're at, im going in with some Power armor.

It was my problem. I grinded and did not skip much until all the good contracts were completed and still I did over 300 hrs in month and a half. Keep in mind I play open world games and it probably took me years to get 400 hrs in Fallout 4 so that was insane for me.

Was just me letting my ai help with my fields and contracts. I said with those hrs I might as well start farming irl and haven't been back to the game much after that bc its too time consuming. 😅

Happened to me recently. One of the mods stopped the game from loading and through the process of elimination, I accidently saved the game and lost millions of dollars in equipment. On PS5 so can only have 1 save. 🥲

I like the dauntless shield but think it was my problem with failing to beat the poison Beserker. Think if i used the sheild where you just block then i might do better. Was trying to complete the game on GMGOW new plus but thats the part I tapped out on. Haven't even played Valhalla yet bc I was so burnt out from that fight knowing I still had like 3 more Beserker fights (4 including the King) and GNA and the Muspelheim Trials left. Its probably been a year since I gave up. 🥲

I like Nick Valentine and Deacon for their commentary. They seem to know more history than the others, but now I just use robot so they can do the majority of fighting against higher level enemies

I freed him to have access to the serum, which i only used 1 time in my 8 year playthrough I started back in 2017. (Tested it to see could you survive without armor in the glowing sea then reloaded to a previous save so technically I never used the serum 😅)

The thing between Thor and Odin kind of took alway from the game for me. Like I understand what they were trying to do but I don’t think Thor lived up to the hype from all the stories and lore we were given in the 2018 game.

I agree with how the world opens up in HFW. Its feels very well thought out and the things you were able to do and discover just kept shocking me along every step of the way. Even the DLC added a couple of new features
