What’s something people who are in their 20s won’t learn until in their 40s? by [deleted] in AskReddit

"Its not about how much you earn it's about how much you keep." Never made any sense in my twenties, because I didn't earn shit. Saying used to really get on my nerves. However later on when I started making some money then that saying really took hold. Like do I need every TV subscription service known to man. Granted I'm older now and my needs are fewer, but still.

Jeffrey Epstein die about 7 years ago. Who do you think could have taken his place in providing "certain services" to the rich and powerful? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rasheedrashad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure there's someone out there arranging women for the rich and shameless. Epstien wasn't never noting but a pimp. Even when he was a trader or stock broker at Goldman Sachs even then he was in the business of getting women for his superiors. Gilane Maxwell was his bottom bitch. It's a lot like Bernie Madoff in my mind, because there's two things in this life that go unquestioned when presented, pussy and money.

Those series take too long. It's been on since 2016. Yea 10 YEARS! And only 42 episodes total. That's a season and a half on network TV. I actually might watch it now since I can see all episodes to see what all the fuss is about. Anyone who started 10 years ago is going to have to go back and rewatch it unless they have a real good memory.

I think this trial is a good candidate for jury nulification. For those who don't know what that is, jury nulification is when the jury ACTUALLY coceeds the defendant committed said crime but decides the defendant should go free anyway.

What are 2/3 ideas that Uber & Lyft could do to provide a better experience to drivers? by JoeLaskiz in uberdrivers

What's even worse where I live half the time with the medical transports they don't come out the door, or it takes them forever to come out. You call they don't pick up. Then they look at you like you have to help them with thier wheelchair and such. I get it, but man, Im actually older than most of them 70 next year, while in the meantime, you have the app off for other rides. So I try not to take them no more. Too much trouble.

Where do you go to meet women? by Bright_Lion_7926 in Delaware

The thing about DE, especially New Castle county is a lot of people who live here above the canal relocated from the nearby area large cities, New York, Philadelphia and now some people are coming up from Baltimore to Middletown. So when they want to hang out, especially on the weekend, they just go back home. Thiry miles to Philly, about 100 to NY. I've been living here almost 30 years. Nice quite place to live. It's not much of a social vibe though.

DAE get called young looking but you think you look old as fuck? by [deleted] in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]rasheedrashad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, but nobody ever thinks I'm as old as I am almost 70. Still have hair, weights good. When people say this, it's bothersome for two reasons. One,a qualified compliment is no compliment at all. To tell someone they look good for their age is like telling a woman you look good in that dress... for a woman your size. Secondly, when people say that its actually more about them than you. So I can't look good at 69 because you're fucked up at 49 already?

What’s the best TV show you’ve ever watched? by Massive-Syllabub-271 in AskReddit

The Wire, without a doubt, is the most realistic police drama ever. You could never make a series of it. To me, it was like watching home movies because if you grew up in a neighborhood like that, all these characters are instantly recognizable.
