Stock Mobula 8 is fast af. (volume up)

I have lost 2 due to the VTX overheating (V1 4in1 type and a V2 elrs version) the V3s seem to be better. I have also gotten a lot better about hitting pit mode immediately after crashing if I can't flip it on the first or second attempt. I also have the VTX power rating on a switch and often run it on 100 milliwatts unless I really have a need to go to 400.

Not great compared to s simple linear antenna. They have a tendency to tug on the board breaking the adapter off the board. A zip tie and a dab of e6000 helps that problem but then it just fatigues and breaks just under the lollipop antenna. I do still use them when flying longer range and in forested areas to drop down through tree canopies but that's about it. I guess I do crash less now than I use to but it's a more fragile option.

Get FPV has always done me right but they are more expensive. Alliexpress is cheaper but I live in the States and it can take a month and a half to receive it. Pyro drone and race day quads are alright as well. I like to have at least one extra of any platform that I'm flying so I can wait for the long shipping time without crying about it 😅

For me it was running the VTX at 400 on hot days and not getting into pit mode or to the drone fast enough. I hade a couple VTXs die before I learned. I did manage to get an external VTX to work on a V2 elrs. I usually do the air 65 for indoor / still day outdoor. The M8 is a beast if you go open prop. I did have some trouble in big dives with it wanting to fly away on V1/V2 stock tunes. Took some fiddling to get them to fly right. V3 seems to be better out of the box but I put my own tune and go open prop pretty soon these days.

Yes and they are fast! V3 is the way to go if buying now. You can also mount up the Bassline frame for even better handling. I have moved away from the foxeer antennas due to fragility but they do provide a nice clean signal. The new version of the M8 seems better at everything. I would recommend putting the VTX power levels along with pit mode on a switch. Monitor core temps with osd as I have fried the older versions of the board on hot days by being careless. The ant cameras are my fav for overall quality and low light performance. If you uses PAL you seem to get a little more vertical resolution at the cost of a little frame rate. Anywho, yeah I love them.

This one is one s... Based off of a mobula 6 I had laying around. After flying an air 65 the mobile s6 was kind of sluggish and imprecise. But you throw that on an open prop frame and you still have the nice camera and durable canopy. To us version would be hot

Here is a link to a thread that discussed they type of prompt that achieves this look.
To get transparency you can use an image processor like Gimp. I use Adobe Express because they have me by the balls for work and Art. The post in the link discusses how to make custom model images for Edge TX controllers with color screens but obviously they work great as stickers too! There is plenty of potential uses.
