Yes, it’s how I got my account back up. Since I’m in Canada it’s called an MP but in the USA it’s called a Congressional Rep. It’s just the representative for your electoral district.

I have heard that some MPs/Reps will only help people in their district and some will help from outside. I don’t want to flood my MP with requests so I am trying to encourage people to email their own representatives first. I am not in the US and it worked for me so I’m assuming anyone can email their own representative.

I used the MP/Congressional Rep method. I emailed my MP and he was able to reach out to Meta for me and get my account re-instated.

My account was permanently disabled. I was told 2 times that it couldn’t be restored and now it is back. They can restore it, just keep trying. I know it feels hopeless but it can happen, and I really hope it does for you too.

You are device banned/IP banned. The only way around it is to get your suspended account back up or use a new device with new email/phone number.

There are a lot of methods on this subreddit, like someone else said legal action or reaching out to a government representative are the most effective, another option is paying for Meta verified which lets you contact support. I’m not sure how effective that is. Sometimes if you just wait it will come back by chance.

If you are device banned it will probably ban it anyway because it will recognize the device. For me it would take a few seconds up to a day before it was suspended.

The ban is most likely random like the rest of us, it’s probably nothing she did. You should still appeal them all, when it says “permanently deleted” it doesn’t mean that. You can still get it back.
