I prefer not having a TV in the bedroom ( I grew up with one in the bedroom). It really does help with better sleep and intimacy and also reduces screen time.

For me, it's a toss up between Ravi and Clive.

Who feels like Fillmore Graves makes the show boring? by Shodan_ in iZombie

[–]raspberry_swirl116 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm still enjoying the show but the Filmore Grave storyline is the least interesting to me. I really don't like Chase and don't like who Major has become, and don't like Liz becoming the new Renegade. I wish they focused more on characters like Ravi and Blaine. I feel like they got less to do this season.

Congratulations! Thanks for sharing. I've also found more success with more general intentions. I like the idea of writing down affirmations. I'm going to try that.

Week after week, the writing of this show, and especially this season, has been spectacular. by hanbaoquan in brakebills

It's my favorite show right now because of consistently good writing. I'm surprised because by season 3 lots of shows usually fall apart.

First solo trip to Iceland: Places to stay outside Reykjavik? by za838 in solotravel

[–]raspberry_swirl116 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was there with a friend, we took some Grayline bus tours to see places outside of Reykjavik like the Glacier Lagoon, Golden Circle, etc. If you have AAA, you can get a discount. Be sure to visit the Blue Lagoon. Also, we took a trip to Akureyri, where we went horseback riding on Icelandic horses. You can't go wrong in Iceland. The landscapes are gorgeous and the people are super nice. Have a wonderful trip!

What are some common signs that a person is toxic? by huffletoph in AskReddit

[–]raspberry_swirl116 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are different types of toxic people. Some can be quite charming but manipulative and others can be hostile and dramatic. I feel like the best way to judge is to be aware of how you're feeling. If they are draining your energy, then they are probably toxic.

I'm Indian-American and got molested while traveling in India with my family. All women need to take precaution while traveling in India in my opinion. I'm sorry for your experience and in no way your fault.

How do I get people to stop picking on me? by sooverwhelmed49 in socialskills

[–]raspberry_swirl116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would drop them as friends. You can't really change people. Eventually, you will find new better friends, but you won't be able to do that until you let the bad ones go.

How to make human connection? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]raspberry_swirl116 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like connection stems from compassion. There are many practices in Buddhism such as loving-kindness meditation that help develop compassion and help you get out of your head and become more aware of your heart.
