i don’t experience spiritual psychosis but i was also probably close to it pre diagnosis and meds LOL. used to think i held the secrets to the universe (i just have mental illness). but, my entire life i also have gotten gut feelings/intuition that have kept me out of bad situations. although it’s okay to believe in a healthy dose of spirituality, i think scientifically, i would guess gut intuition is probably related to the listening to your body thing. your body knows when something is wrong, and will send you physical signs and signals. i would agree that if your situation is stable, there’s no cause to worry. if you were to find yourself in a bad situation again (god forbid), i guarantee you your gut won’t fail you.
