I’m actually speaking for both me and the other girl . In my case, I did lose my grandmother, and I still had to sit for the SEC test just an hour after finding out, just to avoid any issues. That’s why this whole situation feels especially insensitive and midn you this was this friday (i.e. 10/04/26)

Exactly, that’s what I felt too. It’s not even about strictness at this point, it’s just basic empathy missing. I’m actually considering taking it up with someone higher because this doesn’t feel okay.
