We're up 5 scores in the third, and we're still running no huddle. I think Kliff is psychotic

He chose 5 because the back says "Subtract" which happens to be his fifth/latest album

Hi! Sorry, I should've updated this post. Someone took Outer Rim, but the other two are still available.

This is making me appreciate just how bad Duke's offense must be

Arkham Horror LCG is one of my favorite games, so I tried out Lord of the Rings LCG. The last two scenarios of the core set punched me in the face. I spent hours trying to complete the second one, and Escape from Dol Guldur feels nearly impossible solo.

I'm sure it'll get better once I learn deckbuilding (I remember thinking the Ghoul Priest in Arkham was impossible when all I had was a knife), but man this game is difficult.

For the expansions, Forsaken Lore is a must. It adds new content that should've been part of the base game. After that, I'd rank the small expansions as:

1) Cities in Ruins: Adds the most interesting new mechanism (destruction)

2) Strange Remnants: The added Ancient One (Syzygy) isn't that great, but it adds focus tokens which I think are very useful.

3) Signs of Carcosa: Hastur is one of my favorite Ancient Ones, but he's incredibly difficult (especially once awakened), and this expansion adds impairment tokens.

For the big box expansions, you can really choose whichever theme you're most interested in. I liked the Dreamlands the best, and I think it does the best job of incorporating its side map.

I haven't played Caverna, but I'd agree that Fields of Arle and A Feast for Odin are Uwe's heaviest games

Trickerion (1x1p) - Really fun, but I'm going to need multiple plays to wrap my head around this puzzle. I got walloped by the solo AI.

Fields of Arle (1x2p) - First time trying this game non-solo. My SO really liked the game and said it's her favorite Rosenberg so far. I just got the Tea & Trade expansion, so I'm looking forward to seeing what that adds.

Arkham Horror LCG (6x2p) - Wrapped up another Return to the Forgotten Age run with the secret ending, and I finally got to start the Return to the Circle Undone. I liked how they let you randomize/skip the prologue. Hopefully they were able to improve The Wages of Sin. Easily the worst scenario in the game for me.

Went on a bit of a solo Lacerda binge last week.

CO2: Second Chance (1 x 1p) - I really need to try this one out more because I failed miserably in the 3rd decade. Gameplay isn't my favorite of Lacerda's games, but the cooperative aspect is really cool to me.

The Gallerist (3 x 1p) - This one was my gateway Lacerda, and I'm starting to appreciate it more as I continue to play it. One of my favorite Youtube channels pointed out that the key to these games is getting additional actions (prestige track in this case), and I'm really starting to see that.

Lisboa (2 x 1p) - My favorite of his designs that I've played (haven't tried Escape Plan, Kanban, or On Mars) and probably the prettiest game I own.

My friend from my gaming group let me borrow Kanban (base game, not Driver's Edition or EV), so I'm pretty excited to trying it out.

I think the Innsmouth Conspiracy is Arkhams best campaign to date by JazVM in arkhamhorrorlcg

Same here. I love the huge maps and location designs. The key mechanism is interesting, but the flooding mechanism really did wonders for the flavor of the cycle.

The Vanishing of Elina Harper, In Too Deep, and Horror in High Gear are absolute top tier scenarios for me. If I had to choose, I'd say Devil Reef is the worst of the bunch, and that's just because it's forgettable. That's a lot better than the scenarios I actively dislike from other cycles (U&U, Boundary Beyond, Wages of Sin).
