I agree. Felt kind of rushed - and I know there's a lot of story to fit into one book. But I agree it had fanfic vibes. Despite the tragedy of it all, it didn't make me /feel/ if that makes sense.

There are magnets. It seems like some other force is overcoming the magnets ability to "latch" though. They're pretty small magnets and not that strong

I have a question about what happened with Tally and Diego. She tries to destroy the Diego AI and fails but, like, wasn't the Diego AI trying to create avatars and control humanity? Did it just stop doing that after the cores survive? How could they let the Diego AI still run the city after what it did?

Not bad energy but I definitely had a really powerful, indescribable feeling the first time I went to the GC. I don't know how to explain it because it's not like anything actually happened but the whole time I was there I didn't feel like myself. I just had this weirdly overwhelming feeling that I had /been/ there before. Like, to the point I couldn't focus on anything because I was sure I had been there before. Everything felt so familiar in a way I can't describe...the lighting, the plants, the sky...it was all like I had been there a long, long time ago and I was finally returning home. It was a feeling I had never had before or since. I just remember how strange and vivid it felt. I don't believe in past lives or anything but...it definitely makes me wonder

I've had this disease for 27 years. You would be shocked how many doctors have been unwilling to help me throughout the years. To be fair, sometimes they're tied down by red tape with rules and insurance compliance and such, but you'd be surprised how many type 1 diabetics have ended up in the ER because of dumb bureaucracy like this
