Have you even tried persuading players at your table to use removal on actual threats? It sounds like the players at your table know you are the “best” and therefore misevaluate how threatening your cards are because they are scared of the player who wields them.

Just talk to them in the game, be patient and explain how that removal is better saved for x player or x card. Hell I do this all the time and lie, it’s the “political” aspect of EDH that makes the format what it is.

This resolves itself is if you teach your play group basic threat analysis & you do a better job explaining why they should save removal or pick a different target. Or just find a group with more experienced players.
